THE ROYALS: MASTERS OF WAR #2, JUDGE DREDD: TITAN & SCRIPTS

As THE ROYALS continues, the truce is broken thanks to Prince Henry’s actions during the Battle of Britain! Now, Royals across the world are entering World War II – and that includes the oldest and most powerful of them all, the immortal Emperor Jimmu of Japan. Meanwhile, Henry, Arthur and Rose travel to the United States to attempt to convince President Roosevelt to join the conflict. Will Arthur’s drunkenness and Henry’s attraction to his sister torpedo the alliance? And who is the uninvited visitor on the White House lawn?

Order as many copies as you see fit. It’s a strong issue, I think. And Simon did some beautiful work on it.

Also announced recently was the upcoming JUDGE DREDD: TITAN, an eight-part 2000AD series that’s going to be starting in Prog 1862, out on January 2nd. It’s drawn and coloured by the brilliant Henry Flint. It’s the first time Henry and I have worked together since the early issues of Low Life. He’s a mad genius and I’m really very happy with how this story has turned out. Saturn’s moon of Titan has always held a prison complex, which is where corrupt Judges are sent.  And something’s gone very wrong there… Sneak non-spoilery preview.

Also, as it’s Christmas I thought I’d put a couple of script examples up on the site. Two of the most satisfying things I did in 2013 – Judge Dredd: Closet and Superman: Saviour. Mike Dowling and Chris Weston were the excellent artists on these. Here’s what they had to work with (in PDF format):
